As we all know, New Year Celebrations in this year will be very different. The whole world is in COVID-19 fear. All the day to day life is unimaginably affected and  a big economic down turn is expected. We Sri Lankans in NSW Australia are feeling anxious and not different to all other Australians. All of our Sri Lankan functions are either cancelled or postponed … the list goes on!

This year, let’s celebrate our New Year quietly and only with our own family. Let’s be mindful what we do and minimise the health risk to ourselves and to all our fellow Australians.
